Seaford Primary School ~ Toilet Block

The proposed scope involved the demolition of concrete, asphalt paving and landscaped areas adjacent to existing asphalt hardcourt (basketball) and play equipment area for the proposed stand alone boys and girls toilet block. 

Gladona carried out extensive site investigation of all services to be connected to the proposed works eliminating possible cost blowouts associated with such latent conditions. The structure incorporated a galvanised steel structure wrapped in double brick (glazed recycled brick) wall to 2.4m and perforated galvanised mesh screens to provide security as well as ventilation to the toilet block. The complete slab structure was finished as exposed aggregate with garden beds at each end to soften the completed design along with decorative brick planters constructed at both ends of the toilet block. The project was completed ahead of schedule and on budget to the satisfaction of all stake holders.
