Black Rock Primary School

The project included the construction of a NEW toilet block attached to the existing gymnasium which borders the school oval.  The building consisted of a single story building construction of reinforced concrete slab, construction of steel and timber framed structure, clad with selected pre finished Barestone “Cemintel” cladding with expressed joints, colour roofing, flashing and gutters with aluminium framed window and door frames, villaboard linings internally and all walls finished in tiling to 1800mm AFFL. 

The boys and girls toilets was complimented with each having substantial change rooms fitted with prefinished bench seating. The external verandah was designed with an elaborate 30 degree pitch butterfly roof with ceiling in expressed joint villaboard also sloping in 30 degrees to building fascade. 
A new sewer wet well with dual pumps including control panel to monitor the sewerage system. 

Completed 2 months ahead of schedule to the satisfaction of all stake holders especially the staff and children at Black Rock PS.
